Well they power cord for my laptop went up in a puff of smoke, caused by the small explosion of wires frazzling. Hurrah, I have no laptop. Want this means is that until I get a new power cable (sometime next week) I can't get to my geek files and I can't develop any more of my games.
On the plus side this gives me time to decide where I want my games to go, sometimes it's good to stand back and get a little percpective.

Been there, done that
My personal computer had several system files wiped away when a program was uninstalled - so for a year now its been in a rather wounded condition.
Just after thanksgiving my brothers bought a pair of Compaq notebooks on sale. One is still working fine, the other died within 24 hours of opening the box. Compaq sent a replacement, which had a bad track pad, and also died. A second replacement is on the way - with considerable improvements over the baseline as an apology.
A friend built a custom computer. First the supplier gave him a bad mother board. Then he needed to take a hack-saw to the case to get bits in.
Another acquaintance had a computer die due to bugs. Literally. Fruit flies infested his video card.
Thats the way the quantum waveform collapses sometimes.
There is a fine line between hobby and obsession. I seem to have lost sight of it some time ago.
