Hi! I'm Nintaku, born in 1985 in California. My father has been playing D&D since time began, and is dead set on 2nd Edition being the best thing that ever happened.
His friends wouldn't let me game with them when I was 4, though that was when I'd started reading the game books. My first game session was at age 12, and I've basically never stopped.
I've had experience with the following games:
D&D 2e, 3e, and 3.5e (veeeeery little 4e)
GURPS 2e
Old World of Darkness (Changeling, Vampire, and Mage)
New World of Darkness (Mortals, Vampire, and Mage)
Shadowrun 2e
Star Wars 1e, 2e, D20, D20 Revised, and Saga
Big Eyes, Small Mouth 2e and 3e
All Flesh Must Be Eaten
Fuzion
Teenagers From Outer Space
Ghostbusters
Marvel Universe RPG
Mekton Zeta
Mutants & Masterminds 2e
Wushu
FUDGE
And a bunch of tiny systems I either picked up from the internet (Wushu among them, actually) or designed myself. Lately I've been much more interested in the less "crunchy" systems, where more depends on the players and their decision making than their stats and the dice. I've been working on designing RPGs that fit on index cards for ease of play and to weed out numbers-heavy mechanics.
Most recently I picked up a copy of the Doctor Who RPG by Cubicle 7, and that's been the basis of my ideal system for a while now. My intention is to figure out what sorts of settings a system like that can cover, and then try to mold and shape it to fit others without much trouble.
