Okay, so after making a solo game for the recent Halloween RPG Challenge, and thanks to the resulting discussions about it here at RPG Lab, I became determined to make a small solo game that was a lot less fatalistic than most of the solo games I have made in the one page format.
Most of my solo one pagers share a common theme... you start the game by creating your character as you choose, then the rest of the game involves die rolls wherein you have little choice in the course of events beyond what attributes and such you chose initially for your character. These type of solo games were more on the simulation side, giving a player the opportunity to 'watch and see' how the game progressed, but able to do little else due to the fatalistic nature of the solo game.

As a bit of a test for my knowledge of document design - I tried rearranging ErrinF's excellent Hound of Tindalos solo game. At least on my computer, its far easier to read.
The one page contest is a great teaching tool. Not only is it about being careful, concise, and clear about directions, but how to use the page is perhaps as well. Sometimes adding space can help even when your page count is limited.
Thanks for starting the contest, and for providing so many great games.
Update: Credits and name changed per author's request

Well, it was a couple days late due to bad planning, but here is my submission for the Halloween RPG Challenge. It's a two-sided one page solo RPG called Tindalos, wherein you've summoned an evil creature called The Hound of Tindalos. The hound is determined to hunt you down and devour you, so you must scour the town of Arkham as you seek a way to thwart the beast before it slays you. The game is inspired by the weird tale 'The Hounds Of Tindalos' written by Frank Belknap Long. The game is also full of references to other stories by H.P. Lovecraft, with quite a few examples taken out of the Cthulhu Mythos. If you are not familiar with the subject matter the game is based on, I highly recommend reading the authors I just mentioned.

Well, here it is -a year to the day since it was last submitted. The new version of Dead... and Back.
Play testing is still required - as usual. However, I think its in afar more finished state than it was. Now I just need to work on integrating the story elements. The original plan of running two parallel sections - one entirely epistemological artifacts and the other objective truth. Admittedly, this could be a risk given the general perception of game fiction.
Still, this could be the first game that I actually finish.
I you enjoy it.

Previously, I claimed a new version of Dead and Back would be ready for Halloween. With luck, I still might get the game done before midnight. Unfortunately, I'm beginning to doubt it.
A whole page tracks the changes I made. Half of it is about the minor rewrites and clarifications. Disease rules have been tacked on to the bit about poison and fire. Ammunition rules have been better explained, the number of attacks a hoard gets corrected. Pagination and order of sections has changed somewhat.
The second part deals with the initiative system, and Animus. At first, I just wanted to reconcile the two different methods given in the original text. (a Wits roll added to the Wits attribute, and a more complex (Wits + Quick) roll + Animus).

Feedback | Mechanics
Im going to post questions here about game mechanics that I hope that together (me, you and the community) we can find useful (but not definitive, since this kind of thing is always relative) answers, idea or even more questions.
Its kinda an egoistic project, since most questions will be mine, but feel free to use the comments OF MY BLOG to make questions, leave the comments of this book page to discuss stuff already posted, so the comments will not be cluttered.
I would like to point that this book page here is kinda sister to "Shiruba´s Thoughts" book :)
ok, enought jibba jabba!

To all the fans of Supers-Brawl, I have created a sourcebook of ready made characters for Jeff Moore's excellent superheroic miniatures game/RPG. I did it with Jeff's permission after I got the notion to do so recently.
Supers & Brawlers is the name of that sourcebook, and it has sixteen pre-made characters to play Supers-Brawl with, either as a miniatures combat game or a roleplaying game. Unfortunately, due to file size, I had to split up the sourcebook into two pdf files. The original file was 1.4MB, which is .4MB too much to upload here (due to color drawings of supertypes). My options were to get rid of about 6 characters, or split up the sourcebook into two parts. I chose the latter. Along with each sourcebook is an accompanying counter sheet. Both counter sheets can be used to create makeshift miniatures of the Supers & Brawlers characters.

So I have followed through on my recent goal of creating a variant for MACE. Since my knowledge of the entire MACE system is still that of a novice, I decided to take the smartest route and instead create a variant for MACE Lite, the lite version of MACE which I am much more familiar with. Aaron 'Relentless' White, the creator of MACE, has given this project his blessing, and is very welcome to adapt Mutant MACE Lite into a 'non-Lite' variant for MACE.
Mutant MACE Lite is an homage to the excellent RPG Palladium made for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (based off the cool comics, not the mainstream TMNT nonsense). As a variant, it allows players of MACE Lite to create mutated animal fighters. You know the type... humanoid animal mutants trained in the martial arts and gifted with extraordinary animal powers.

So it turns out that Jeff Moore's "continually evolved ideas" blog continually evolved some of my ideas! Featured in Jeff's blog was his excellent superhero RPG called 'Supers Brawl' as well as a cool discussion of past superhero RPGs, which inspired me to work on a couple recent ideas I had for some superhero RPGs of my own.
While I started out working on a game called 'Zenith Supers RPG', I instead dug up a very recent idea I had to make a superheroic RPG along similar lines to the Detective Comics featuring Batman, namely that there would be no super powers, just trained individuals with super gadgetry. Originally conceived as a solo RPG e-book I would post at RPG Lab, my new game Crime Fighter RPG instead has become a traditional group RPG which I hope to have a solo variant for in the near future. I'll also finish Zenith Supers at some point most likely near the end of the year.
