Wow. this place looks pretty cool. Good place to start my creative career in a sense! I am working on this idea at the moment. Anyone ever read the Mortal Engines Quartet? Predatory Cities?!
I've never heard of the series - but one internet search later, and I'm intrigued. This sounds like a very interesting setting and project.
Its very impressive that you got the authors permission - how did you pull off this feat? Out of dozens of fan-made games written as an homage to a certain published work, I'm aware of only one other with official blessing. Fallout PnP ("pencil 'n Paper") was written not only with permission, but copies the resolution system exactly as it is in the computer game.
