4.1 Medical Effects

• Anaphylacsis

– Anaphylacsis is when the body overreacts to an allergen or toxin. It can cause any of the symptoms listed below:

• Necrosis

– Necrosis is the premature death of tissue and cells. The flesh dies and begins to decompose while still attatched to the rest of the body. The microorganisms which decompose the dead flesh will release fatal poisons into the blood unless the necrotic flesh is cut away by a surgeon - often entailing amputation. If a surgeon is unavailable, maggots can be applied to the area to eat the dead flesh. If necrosis remains untreated for 7 days, the victim is poisoned with .
