Reel Adventures

I had my first playtest of reel adventures on sunday, and it went really well. The game revolves around a 'momentum vs. impact' mechanic. The players have impact which they can use to manipulate the plot, and they can gain from framing scenes where they break ties with connections or do something dramatic. Momentum builds against the players in every scene. In act 1 they gain 1 momentum per scene, in act 2, 2 momentum etc. As the momentum builds they must fight against it or be 'swept away' by the plot, and lose control of their own destiny for a scene.

I will post the rules up soon as I had to make some adjustments after the first playtest.
