Dice Resolution 1 | D6 vs Target Number

The first suggested dice resolution system is the one presented in Part 1. Let's review and adapt it:

PCs and NPCs have concepts and/or traits that will define levels of expertise to resolve the present situation. Those levels range from 0 to 2.

The players will roll 1D6 plus another D6 for each level (from 0 to 2) and compare with the Target Number.

The Target Number (TN) will be defined by the level of the opposing PC or NPC, or will be define by the GM, following the table above:

- Level 0: TN4 (1/2/3 = 1 defeat, 4/5/6 = 1 success/die);
- Level 1: TN3,5 (1/2 = 2 defeats, 3/4 = 1 defeat, 5/6 = 1 success/die);
- Level 2: TN2,4,6 (1 = 3 defeats, 2/3 = 2 defeats, 4/5 = 1 defeat, 6 = 1 success/die).

To find the final result, look to the highest die and compares with the definitions above: how many dice are at the success range, that's the level of success; if none is, the highest die will define the level of defeat!
